HUMANISTS

Protest
the Pope - SPOT the Farnham Humanists in the photos below!!!
On Saturday 18th September several Farnham Humanists
joined over 15,000 others protesting against
the honour of a state visit being given to the Pope and
its
cost to the taxpayer.
The Pope, as a citizen of Europe and
the leader of a religion with many adherents in the UK, should be and is, of
course, free to enter and tour the country.
We also took the opportunity to protest against
the Pope and his organisation's:
- cover up of child abuse - e.g. the files on
abusive priests all over the world should be opened up for proper
consideration by the relevant civil authorities
- condemnation of the use of contraception
resulting in unwanted pregnancies, larger families and greater poverty all
round the world
- condemnation of the use of condoms to
protect against HIV/aids
- condemnation of medical research associated
with Human fertility e.g. IVF and stem cell research
- actions against equality and Human Rights
for lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgender people
- discrimination against women and denying abortion to even the most vulnerable women
- rehabilitation of the holocaust denier
bishop Richard Williamson and the appeaser of Hitler, the war-time Pope,
Pius XII
